Terms of service

Effective: September 7, 2026

These terms govern your use of restaurantwaterfilters.com and any purchase from Restaurant Water Filters, LLC ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them.

Who can buy

This store sells commercial foodservice equipment to businesses. You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract.

Pricing and availability

We publish our prices on the page. Prices are in U.S. dollars and can change without notice; the price that applies is the one shown when your order is placed.

We are a dealer and inventory sits with our suppliers. We try hard to show accurate availability, but stock can change between your order and the warehouse. If something you ordered is unavailable or the price was listed in error, we will contact you with the options and, if you prefer, cancel and refund in full. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order.

Specification assistance — what it is and isn't

We help customers match filters to equipment, and we take that seriously. But the advice we give is based on the information you give us and on manufacturer documentation. It is not a plumbing design, a water treatment engineering report, or a substitute for your equipment manufacturer's own installation requirements.

You remain responsible for confirming compatibility with your equipment, for compliance with local plumbing and health codes, and for correct installation. Filtration equipment should be installed by a qualified person. Installing a product incorrectly, or outside the manufacturer's stated operating conditions, can damage equipment and may void your equipment warranty.

If a filter we specced is genuinely the wrong part for the equipment you told us about, that is our error and we will make it right — see Returns.

Product information

We publish specifications from manufacturer documentation and link the source where we can. Manufacturers change specifications, and the manufacturer's current documentation governs. Certification and performance claims are the manufacturer's, reproduced as stated by them; we do not test products ourselves and we do not extend claims beyond what the manufacturer's own documentation supports.

Warranties

Products carry the manufacturer's warranty, not a warranty from us. We will help you make a manufacturer claim. Except as stated in these terms and as required by law, we provide the site and products "as is" and disclaim implied warranties to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here limits your non-excludable statutory rights.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for the products concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business or equipment downtime.

We would rather say this plainly than bury it: this is a standard commercial limit, and it is also why we are careful about specification. Note that your equipment manufacturer's warranty contains its own, often broader, exclusions — several exclude damage from water supply problems outright. Read yours.

Reminder emails

The reminder list is a free service. We will use reasonable care to send reminders on schedule, but the responsibility for maintaining your equipment remains yours, and we are not liable if a reminder is delayed, misdirected or not delivered.

Acceptable use

Don't use the site unlawfully, don't attempt to break or overload it, and don't scrape or republish our content wholesale. Our text, layout and original guide content belong to us; manufacturer names, marks and documentation belong to them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of laws rules, and disputes will be heard in the courts of Minnesota.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version in effect when you order is the one that applies to that order.
